About Us

Originally founded under the Affiliated Associations of America in 2003, Affiliated Services was the in-house agency that managed the Association's healthcare benefits. In January 2007 AAOA formally announced a name and structure change to Affiliated Services LLC, as the General Agency for the AAOA Healthcare.

The change was necessary to expand services provided to employers under AAOA Healthcare. The expansion of services included the establishment of the advanced training and Academy Certification program. This program set stringent education and proficiency qualifications for Producers. All of the Affiliated Services Producers are required to participate and complete the Academy Certification program.

This advanced training allows us to work with employers to educate them on developing a "Healthcare Management Strategy." A well developed approach that guides the purchasing and administration of employee benefit plans with a long range plan designed to provide options and solutions to employers to meet their changing business needs.

Producers are specialized in working with AAOA Healthcare, UnitedHealthcare programs, services, plan integrations and the exclusive technology of the agency.

Located in Redmond Washington, Affiliated Services LLC is one of the largest employee benefit agencies in the Seattle area. In May of 2009, AAOA and Affiliated Services LLC were awarded Platinum Brokerage status by UnitedHealthcare. The platinum designation is only awarded to a select group of the highest quality agencies by UnitedHealthcare.
